About the LPGC
Established in May of 1967, the Las Positas Golf Club is based at the Las Positas Golf Course in the City of Livermore, California in the heart of the East Bay wine country. The LPGC hosts an average of two tournaments per month, supporting members at all handicap levels. Tournaments include team best-ball, match play, member-guest, two-person, individual medal and other formats.
About the Las Positas Golf Course
The Las Positas Golf Course is a Robert Muir Graves design initially opened in 1966. A 27 hole facility located in the Livermore Wine Country, the Signature 18 hole Course is a par 72 stretching a very walkable 6,723 yards. Since its opening, Las Positas Golf Course has gone through 2 major renovations, with the most recent in 2011 / 2012. The beautiful white sand bunkers are only the beginning of the recent renovation. The signature 18 has 5 new holes, 12 redesigned tee boxes, potable water on all greens, new drainage, new cart paths, new landscaping and a new turn building located at the 10th tee box. These are only a few of the beautiful updates waiting for you.
In addition to the Signature 18, Las Positas Golf Course boasts a brand new Links 9 Golf Course. This all par 3 course opening in May 2012 with over 100 Juniors playing on opening day, and setting new course records along the way. The Links 9 will challenge your iron game and test your putting ability. Replay rates are available allowing you to play an affordable 18 holes on the Links 9 in less than 3 hours.
The amenities at Las Positas Golf Course include the local family favorite, Beeb's Sports Bar and Grill, a full service Golf Shop along with driving range facilities that include grass and matt stalls, chipping areas and two putting greens. The course offers individual and group lessons, as well as club fitting from it staff by appointment. Rental clubs are available.
Las Positas Golf Course is also proud of its golfing family with its members in the Las Positas Golf Club, Ladies Clubs, Senior Club and nationally acclaimed Junior Golf Club. In 2012 Las Positas Golf Course was the home course for the PGA Junior National Championship Team.
